ASTER + LUNA
When Kelsey first approached Hey Sunny Studio she was feeling misalignment with her Brand, bouncing around with different colours, fonts and graphics in Canva, she felt herself pulling away from the logo and brand elements that she started her business with. After discussing her growth and the goals she has for the future, we decided a Brand in a Week would be the perfect fit. She was in a position where she knew her values, her positioning in the online space and her target audience - really, she just needed elevated visuals to represent this new stage in her business. Visuals that will carry her through for years to come, and ones that resonate with the clientele she is appealing to. We incorporated the Luna into the A as representation of where she started, while holding the meaning behind Luna. We chose a soft serif font with far reaching ligeratures to pull in the uniqueness of her Brand. Stamping the botanical element brings the ecological factor into play - a stamp into her brand, a stamp of sustainability her business revolves around, a mark of our footprint on the Earth.

“I still feel so much more confident about my brand! I look at my new branding, signs, business cards, price tags, stamps, etc and think 'What?!' I truly feel like a real, legitimate business now. Even though I was all along, this has given me a new sense of confidence and made me even more proud of the business I've built.
It's continually giving me the confidence to level up - redo my website, have signs and branding materials made and, hopefully one day, create merchandise for our own shop.
I've been able to surpass my sales goal every month for the past 6 months. If I compare my sales (this year to date, compared to the same time last year) they've almost doubled. I’ve been able to move our operations out of our basement and into a curated space, which has allowed us to now offer in-person, appointment and drop in shopping! I’ve been able to make those changes in my business while still just myself running it, no employees, and no more childcare days than I did before.
